How To Be Crazy Interview FAQ
Welcome to the How To Be Crazy Podcast!
Interview Basics:
We’ll do a 2-hour interview using the Riverside platform with Honor and/or Graham
We’ll be recording audio and video
We'll do a quick sound check, answer any questions you’ve got, then start recording
Need to Reschedule?
No problem - use the Calendly link in your invite. The sooner you let us know, the better!
Find the Calendly in your calendar or email
Tech Setup:
You need to have the latest Chrome browser (Riverside's best friend) - download / update Chrome here before our interview
You’ll need headphones with inbuilt microphone (wired preferred, but we're flexible)
Got your own podcast mic? Feel free to use it! Just choose your mic from the drop down menu when you join the Riverside call
If you have any questions about tech, please email Graham prior to your interview (graham@bigfeels.club)
Prep Tips:
We'll send topic ideas in advance
Consider any subjects you'd prefer to avoid (we’ll ask you if you have any beforehand)
Feel free to make interview notes, but this is not required
Content Guidelines:
Mental health discussions are our focus, which includes some pretty real stuff like talking about being suicidal
We may suggest rephrasing sensitive topics for listener safety (e.g. avoid describing specific methods of self-harm)
Please avoid naming specific services (for legal reasons)
After the Interview:
We’ll give you 3-4 days to “sit with” your interview before editing; email Graham if you want anything removed (graham@bigfeels.club)
We'll provide social media content for sharing when your episode comes out
It's normal to feel a bit raw after - take care of yourself!
Support:
We suggest having one or two of your usual coping strategies ready
And we suspect you know this drill by now, but check our website for additional support resources if needed
Questions? Email honor@bigfeels.club or ask during our pre-recording chat.
We're excited to have you on the show!
